Trump and Putin to speak Tuesday when Trump searched an end with the Ukraine war, Trump said

London and Washington – President Donald Trump said he plans to speak on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the midst of the US President’s efforts to end the Russian War in Ukraine.
Trump added that “a lot of work” had been done during the weekend and that “we will see if we have something to be announced. Maybe on Tuesday.” He said that his government wanted to “see if we could end the war.”
“Maybe we can. Maybe we can’t, but I think we have a very good opportunity,” he said, speaking on a water air ship when he returned to Washington, DC, on Sunday night.

Trump’s government in recent weeks has pushed Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to be involved in ending the 3 -year war, high -risk diplomatic maneuvers including negotiating the 30 -day ceasefire potential with Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.
Kremlin has not agreed, with Putin saying he is “for that” but also that he is looking for further security guarantees. Zelenskyy over the weekend accused Putin of “extending” the war.
Zelenskyy on Sunday reiterated the sentiment, said in his speech at night that “Russia stole almost a week – a week of war that Russia wanted only.” He said Ukraine would do anything for further diplomacy that would end the war, but “Defense and Resilience are the most important”
“We must remember – during the invaders in our land, and during the sound air strike, we must defend Ukraine,” said Zelenskyy, according to translated transcript provided by the office.

Zelenskyy has long argued that the victory of Ukraine against the Russian invasion will include a country that retrieved the territory captured by Russia during the war. Kremlin also annexed the Crimean Peninsula after the 2014 Russian invasion.
Last week last week echoing the words of Zelenskyy, said he would look for a total victory in the Kursk, the Russian border region captured by Ukraine in a sudden attack last summer, by regaining every inch of it.
Asked what kind of concessions that the US will look for from Moscow and Kyiv to reach a ceasefire agreement, Trump indicates discussions around the land and power plants are on the table, as well as assets “dividing” between the two countries.
“Well, I think we will talk about the land. This is a lot of land, “he said on Sunday.” This is far different from before the war, you know. And we will talk about land, we will talk about power plants. That’s a big question, but I think we have been discussed a lot, very much by both parties. “
