Internship Congress Killed in Washington, DC Shooting: Official

A 21 -year -old internship was killed Monday night after being trapped in a targeted shot in northwestern Washington, DC, police said.
Police officers and congress identified victims as Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, from Granby, Massachusetts, who died Tuesday after being shot near the 7th and M. Jalan Jalan
Investigators have found a suspected vehicle and stated that while the shooting was targeted, Tarpinian-Jachym was not included among the intended victims.
Tarpinian-Jachym, who has served as an internship for Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kakan.) Since June, has been an increase in seniors at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he majored in finance with minor in political science.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred at around 10:28 Monday when several suspects emerged from a vehicle and fired on a group of people. Three victims were beaten: Tarpinian-Jachym, an adult woman, and a 16-year-old man.

While the other two victims realized when the police arrived, Tarpinian-Jachym was found unconscious. The three were transported to the local hospital, where Tarpinian-Jachym surrendered to his wounds on Tuesday.
Rep. Estes and his wife, Susan, released a statement stating their condolences to the Tarpinian-Jachym family.
“I will remember his good heart and how he always greeted anyone who entered our office with a cheerful smile,” Estes said in a press release. “We thank Eric for his service to the 4th district of Kansas and the country.”
Estes has represented the 4th Kansas Congress district since 2017 and is currently serving in the DPR Committee on the ways and facilities, budgeting committees, and joint economic committees, and setting the Social Security Subcommittee.
