London – Indian officials said that during the Press Briefing Saturday that Pakistan had attacked 26 locations throughout India and the Pakistani military had begun to move their troops “to the front areas.”

“I have said on many previous occasions, Pakistani actions are provocation and escalation,” said Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri. “In response, India has survived and reacts in a responsible and measurable manner of this provocation and escalation by the Pakistani side. Previously this morning, we saw the repetition of this escalatory and provocative pattern.”

Indian Army Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said the advanced movement of Pakistani troops showed “offensive intention to further enhance the situation.”

“The Indian armed forces remain in high operational readiness conditions,” Qureshi said. “All hostile actions have been effectively opposed and responded properly. The Indian Armed Forces repeat their commitment to non-escalation, as long as it was replied by the Pakistani military.”
