Air India Jet brought 242 accidents in India on the way to London, with the possibility 'no one survived'

London and Delhi – an Indian aircraft carrying 242 passengers and crew on the way to Britain from India fell shortly after taking off, it seems to kill all on the ship, local officials and the airline said.

“Flights, who departed from Ahmedabad at 13:38, carried 242 passengers and crew members on the Boeing 787-8 aircraft,” said the airline in statement Posted on social media. “Of these, 169 are Indian citizens, 53 are British citizens, 1 citizen of Canadian citizens and 7 Portuguese citizens.”

Police Commissioner Ahmedabad GS Malik told ABC News that “It seems that no one survived the plane.”

The plane, a Dreamliner Boeing 787-8, crashed in the Meghaninagar area near Ahmedabad Airport, in the Indian Gujarat state, Malik said Thursday. The previous Dreamliner Boeing aircraft were not involved in an incident where passenger deaths were reported.

“We know the initial report and work to gather more information,” Boeing said in a statement.

The Directorate General of Indian Civil Aviation said the plane “crashed on the land outside the airport limit” immediately after departing from the airport. The video from the site seems to show that the jet disappears below the tree line, which is followed by a second later by a fireball and a thick lump of gray smoke.

“Heavy black smoke is seen from the location of the accident,” said the Directorate General in the statement.

Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu said he had “directed all flight and emergency responses to take quick and coordinated action” to respond to the accident.

“The rescue team has been mobilized, and all efforts are being made to ensure medical assistance and assistance support are rushed to the location,” the Minister added.

The local governor, Bhupendra Patel, spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the accident to coordinate their emergency response, officials said. Patel said he ordered what was called the “green corridor” for emergency vehicles to travel between accident sites and local hospitals.

Modi in a statement confirmed that he had been in contact with local officials.

“The tragedy in Ahmedabad has shocked and makes us sad,” he said statement on social media. “This is heartbreaking outside the words. At this sad time, my mind with all the people affected.”

The airline initially announced the accident statement On social media, the flight has been “involved in an incident,” added that it was “ensuring the details” of the incident. This airline updates its social media profile to display all -black profile images.

This flight is scheduled to fly from Ahmedabad Airport, which is officially Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, to Gatwick London Airport, according to Flightradar24, a tracking location.

It has been scheduled to leave at 9:50 am local time, with the planned arrival time in London at 18:25 local time. Gatwick came in statement confirm the scheduled arrival time.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he was being renewed about the situation in Ahmedabad, adding that “his mind with their passengers and families at this very troublesome time.”

“The scene that emerged from a plane tied to London that brought many British citizens who crashed into the city of Ahmedabad India was very destroyed,” Starmer said in statement.

The captain has 8,200 hours of experience and copilot has 1,100 hours of flying experience, added General of the Indian Directorate.
