Vance in LA as a continuing immigration protest

Vice President JD Vance was in Los Angeles on Friday when protesting against the crush of Trump administrative immigration continued to hold the city.

Vance, a sea veteran, is on a tour around the Multi-agent federal joint operation and federal cellular command center. Vance is expected to receive direction from various institutions working in the building including the administration of drug enforcement, the Department of Domestic Security, Immigration and Customs and Excise and Enforcement of Local and State Law.

The vice president will also meet with leadership and marines before giving a statement, according to his office.

His visit came as a protest and clash of law enforcement in Los Angeles over the attack and deportation of ICE – an important part of President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Other conflicts in this city came from Trump’s decision to mobilize thousands of national guards and hundreds of marines to LA against the wishes of Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom.

The federal appeal court decided on Thursday that Trump could keep the national guards in Los Angeles for now – allowing the president to continue to use the military to extinguish protests against his deportation plan. Trump calls the decision the “big victory” Social media posting.

Earlier this month, Vance attacked the protest and used events that took place in LA to push the Megabill journey which would advance Trump’s legislative agenda.

“Insurrectionists who carry foreign flags attacked immigration enforcement officers, while half of American political leadership has decided that border enforcement is evil,” Vance Write in post x. “It’s time to pass President Trump’s beautiful bill and further secure the border.”

Many Democrats have spoken against Trump administrative immigration practices. Last week, Senator California Alex Padilla, a Democrat, was forcibly removed from a Secretary of the Security of the country Kristi NOEM about the topic after he said he tried to ask questions.
