Trump to delay the prohibition of tiktok because Walmart considers throwing a hat on the ring to buy an application

President Donald Trump on Friday said he extended the deadline for Tiktok to be prohibited or sold by a Chinese parent company, Bytedance.
April 5 deadline will be encouraged 75 days, Trump said in a post to his social media platform. This is the second time he has pushed the deadline since serving.
“My administration has worked very hard on the agreement to save Tiktok, and we have made extraordinary progress. The agreement requires more work to ensure all the required agreements are signed, which is why I signed the executive command to keep the tiktok and run for 75 additional days,” Trump wrote.
This step was taken because Walmart actively considering joining a group of investors to buy Tiktok, according to a source close to the agreement, which said Walmart’s interest was triggered by Amazon who threw their hat on the ring.
Back in 2020, Walmart said he was working with Microsoft to make an offer for Tiktok. This application will provide retail giant access to hundreds of millions of consumers who can be their customers and viewers for their advertisements, in encouragement for their e-commerce business.

Trump’s administration is considering an agreement to save Tiktok who will have China to maintain control over the algorithm to be rented to US companies, with minority ownership shares, the source close to the agreement told ABC News.
It is unclear whether the proposal follows the Bipartisan law that was approved
Sumber said there were several investors who were interested in jumping to buy Tiktok, including Amazon, Oracle and Applovin. A source close to the agreement also said that the Stokely Team, the founder of the Onlyfans adult website, has also submitted the final stage of offer for Tiktok.
The White House and Walmart have not yet responded to the request for comments.

On Thursday, Trump hinted that his new tariff was announced in China could be a negotiation tactic to reach an agreement on Tiktok sales.
“If someone says that we will give you something very phenomenal, as long as they give us something, it’s good,” he told reporters at the Air Force One.
“We have a situation with Tiktok where China might say, ‘We will approve the agreement, but will you do something at a rate?'” “The tariff gives us great strength to negotiate.”
Even if Trump agreed to the agreement, China still needs to sign it. As-China’s relationship is tense, with the US will hit China at a rate of 54% defeat. China is now responding to 34% of its tariffs on imports from the US
“We hope to continue working in good faith with China, which I understand is not too happy with our reciprocity rates,” Trump wrote at his social media post on Friday.
“We don’t want tiktok ‘to be dark.’ We hope to work with Tiktok and China to close the agreement, “he added.
