Trump proposed an UFC battle in the White House yard for the American 250th celebration
President Donald Trump proposed a surprising way to celebrate the 250th US birthday next year: put an octagon ring in the White House yard and made the fighters come out.
Trump drifted the idea of having an UFC event on July 4 during the Thursday speech at Iowa, where he talked about plans to celebrate the 250th birthday of America.

“We will fight UFC. Think about this on the grounds of the White House,” he said. “We have a lot of land there. We will build a little.”
Trump did not reveal many details about his proposal but said that the CEO of UFC Dana White, a loyal supporter of the President, would handle the event.
“Funds will do it. Great funds. One type. Will have an UFC battle – championship battle, full battle – such as 20, 25,000 people, and we will do that as part of 250,” Trump said.
