The tropical storm commemoration was expanded to North Carolina when Chantal approached

Commemoration of tropical storms has been expanded to Surf City, North Carolina, because Tropical Storm Chantal is abroad from the southeast of the US on Saturday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

This storm has a maximum sustainable wind of up to 50 mph and moves north to only 8 mph.

The center of the storm is located about 95 miles southeast of Charleston, South Carolina.

Scattered rain and lightning storms from the outer ribbons of Chantal affected the parts of the South and North Carolina coastline on Saturday night, along with the increase in rough waves and dangerous rip currents.

Conditions will continue to deteriorate in the next hour when the storm approaches the beach. A slight change of additional strength expected before the landing, which is likely to occur before the sun rises.

The condition of the tropical storm is expected to begin on Saturday night for the carolina coastline sections from the southern Sante River to the city of Sancar, where the tropical storm warnings.

The condition of tropical storms is possible from Saturday later south of the southeast river to Edisto beach in southern Carolina where the tropical storm watches are valid.

Heavy rainfall throughout the coast of Carolinas will cause flash floods up to Monday, with a total rainfall of a 2 to 4 -inch storm and a local number of up to 6 inches expected for Carolina.

Chantal will carry a small storm surge to the coastline of Carolina, with a surge of storms between 1 to 3 feet as possible for coastal areas under the commemoration of tropical storms.

This system is also expected to carry the waves and rip flows that threaten life along the east coast part of the northeast of Florida to the State of Atlantic in the middle of the next few days.
