The first half of the Super Bowl performers who allegedly performed the flag during the first round show Kendrick Lamar, who read the message “Sudan and Gaza Free,” was arrested by the State Police Louisiana on Thursday.

Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, 41, from New Orleans, allegedly performed flags and did not comply with security at the scene, which told him to stop.

He was allowed to be in the field, but was not permitted to display the flag, said the police.

The incident occurred on February 9 when New Orleans hosted the Super Bowl Lix at Caesars SuperDome.

Louisiana state police said that Nantambu was suspected of “deviating from his assigned role, taking the Sudan flag with the message ‘Sudan and Gaza for free,’ and disturbed the first round show by running across the field with the flag.”

“Security and law enforcement personnel at the location quickly recognize invalid actions and arrest players after he refused to comply with their orders to stop,” said the police.

After the event, the arrest warrant was obtained for Nantambu through the Orleans Parish Criminal Court, the police said.

Nantambu, with his lawyer, surrendered himself on Thursday to the police on charges of opposing an officer and disturbing peace with the legal disturbance of the assembly.
