Smartmatic accused Fox News of destroying text messages in the 2020 election case when Fox won a new document

The defamation suit worth billions of dollars submitted by the Smartmatic Voting machine company against Fox News this week with new accusations proposed by Smartmatic that the Fox executive destroyed text messages – and Won News Won in power that would allow them to access new documents that could help their defense.
Smartmatic, in the submission of a court Wednesday, accused that Fox News and Fox Corp “regulating the destruction of text messages at all levels of their company’s hierarchy” – A submission that came when Fox continued to fight the defamation lawsuit proposed by the ballot machine company for the 2020 network election claims.
Smartmatic claims those who “delete their text” including the founder of Rupert Mudoch and Chairman Lachlan Murdoch.
“The destruction is not isolated or unintentional,” the submission, which was mostly claimed. “That’s broad and intentional.”
The claims were revealed in the introduction of a motion proposed publicly to the court, even though the remaining motion remained erased because of the “secret provisions” of 2022 among the parties.
Smartmatic sued Fox and other defendants in 2021, claiming that they “consciously and deliberately” lied about Smartmatic after the 2020 election regarding the claim of voting machine fraud, causing Smartmatic to lose business.
Fox has said they covered accusations that were worthy of being reported by President Donald Trump and others, and accused Smartmatic of finding to benefit from the lawsuit.

In his submission, Smartmatic accused that “Fox Custodians” deleted their text messages from November and December 2020, creating “emptiness.”
“Fox has eliminated contemporary texts that will reveal more evidence of what Fox executives are known about their broadcast falsity and why Fox continues to broadcast it,” said the archiving. “Meanwhile, fighting for election fraud in the air, behind the scenes of Fox ensures that a lot of communication that burdens the executive will never see during the day.”
Thus, Smartmatic requested that the judges in the case of “charged with disadvantaged inference instructions” – Legal instructions given by the judge to the judges who allow them to assume that evidence that is not available is not profitable for those who cannot produce them.
Archiving from Smartmatic came one day after a New York judge decided that Fox News could gain access to documents related to the ongoing Department of Justice Investigation of the three Smartmatic executives.
In a statement, Fox said Wednesday’s motion by Smartmatic was “Disease to Different Attends” from the ruling Fox News that was secured on Tuesday in this case.
“Smartmatic weakly efforts to revive the problem of unticated discovery that was actually revealed by Fox and resolved two years ago,” the statement said. “These problems have nothing to do with the benefits of Smartmatic cases, which have been messy at every opportunity.”
The statement further said that Fox would immediately submit its own motion “which outlines the big failure of the Actual Smartmatic to preserve evidence, including written instructions directly by CEO Smartmatic to delete relevant text messages on the night of this lawsuit.”
The three smartmatic executives at this time and the former were charged in last year’s criminal indictment accused them of “money laundering and money laundering scheme” to get a contract in the Philippines, according to the indictment, which did not mention the name Smartmatic by the name.
A judge decided that the documents were “clearly relevant” with Smartmatic’s benefits, which Smartmatic allegedly plummeted because of the statement related to the election made by Fox. But Fox News believes that there are other factors for the alleged Smartmatic profit, such as criminal indictments.
In a statement that responded to the decision, Smartmatic’s lawyer claimed that they had “agreed” for the discovery.
“Fox tries to blame others besides itself because smartmatic injury is just more lies than Fox,” said Smartmatic law advisor, Erik Connolly. “The writing is on the wall. Lies have consequences.”
Fox representatives praised the verdict, saying in a statement that they were “happy” with the decision and that “factual evidence showed that Smartmatic’s business and reputation suffered long before the claim of President Trump’s lawyer on Fox News and that Smartmatic enlarged the damage to his claims to produce headlines and cold speech.”
Materials that must be disclosed by Smartmatic include “all internal documents regarding discussion or analysis of the impact of the indictment on the company” and “all communication received from actual or potential customers regarding the indictment.”
In a statement at the time, Smartmatic said, “There is no suspected voter fraud and Smartmatic is not charged. Voters around the world must be convinced that the election they follow is carried out with full integrity and transparency. These are the values owned by Smartmatic Lives.”
