Schumer was angry at the delay of the Iran-Israel Senate conflict

A frustrated minority leader, Chuck Schumer, mentioned the delay of the Trump government of the briefing scheduled on Tuesday on the Iran-Israel Conflict “outrageous,” “Displaying” and “Disagreement”-and former Parliament Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the delay of the DPR Briefing “a shelter on the face of the state congress.
“There are legal obligations for the administration to inform the congress about what happened. What they fear? Why did they not involve the congress in critical details, the results of recent strikes, scope and conflict tracks, the government’s long-term strategy to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, potential risks faced by American citizens and our services that have all lobbies to get nuclear explosions,”. “Schumer said while talking to reporters on Tuesday afternoon.
Schumer said the senator deserves transparency.
“The last delay of our direction is outrageous, this is evasive, it is neglected. They are swinging and weaving and ducking. Senators deserve to get full transparency,” he said.

The Secret Briefing of the Senate, which was determined to cover a shorter than the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Head of the Joint Head and Caine, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and DNI Tulsi Gabbard, had been postponed later this week to allow other direction to join.
Schumer suggested, and a GOP leadership aide confirmed that the shorter people who were expected to join the re -scheduled meeting on Thursday were State Secretary Marco Rubio and the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who are currently at the NATO Conference. It is unclear whether the original Slate of Briefers will still attend the direction of Thursday.
“I was not given an explanation for this postponement,” Schumer told reporters. “They said, ‘Well Hegseth and Rubio will be here Thursday.’ We are happy to hear them on Thursday other than this briefing, which we think will be far more valuable than hearing from Hegseth and Rubio, who are secretaries and top people and are very good at political talks.
Schumer said that Rubio and Hegseth wanted to talk to members he was happy to hear from them. But he also wants to hear from a shorter original slate.
“If they want to appear on Thursday besides – not in the replacement of this trial – it’s okay,” Schumer said. “But this barrier to this government about an important issue like this where Americans live and in particular the lives of American service members are at stake, are their obligations and that damage the principles of accountability and supervision that protect our democracy.”
The delay occurred when the initial intelligence assessment showed that the attack did not fully destroy the Iranian nuclear program and the possibility of returning it for only months, according to two people who were familiar with the assessment.
While the White House denied the assessment, DPR minority leader Hakeem Jeffries said that it was further justification for the briefing of the congress.
“That is one of the reasons why we need a gang of eight immediate direction and secret direction for all members of the House of Representatives,” said Jeffries.
Schumer said he still had not received a more formal briefing than the government since he received a short call that told him about the strike Saturday night before that occurred. The call, he said, did not have specific details.
‘Slap face’
The secret briefing of the house for Tuesday afternoon was also postponed, which encouraged the legislative tantrums on the floor Tuesday afternoon, with members of parliament demanding an explanation.
Democratic representative Yvette Clarke, Chair of the Caucus Black Congress, tried four times to find an explanation from the chair as part of the “parliamentary investigation.”
Clarke’s inquisition was dismissed repeatedly by the chairman, Republic of Republic of Scott Desjarlais, who told Clarke that he had not stated the parliamentary investigation correctly.

After a few alternating, Clarke then told Desjarlais that without an explanation for the delayed direction, he would offer a motion to delay. It forced members of parliament to return to the room for an unexpected vote to defeat the Democratic motion.
PelSi criticizes the delay of briefing.
“We all have to make our best assessment in how we prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons and respecting our relations with Israel for our national security. But the unable to be justified from this direction by Trump’s administration is an unbearable insult to the equivalent branch and the constitutional requirement that the president came to the congress before going to war,” their democrats are equivalent to California and constitutional words. “The president owes an explanation to the American people about why his government guarded them and their representatives in the dark.”
It is not yet clear when the house briefing will be rescheduled.
Massie considering the resolution of the power of war
When the meeting took place, it is expected that parliament members, especially Democrats, will look for answers and evidence to the Briefing from the government – especially why Trump said there was a threat that would soon occur and carry out US attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites during the weekend.
Their meeting came after several parliamentary members in Capitol Hill argued that military action was not constitutional. There are several bipartisan resolutions that can receive votes in the coming days that can place some parliamentary members in an uncomfortable position because they consider whether Trump ignores the role of the congress in attacking Tehran.
Representatives of the Republic of the Republic of Thomas Massie and Rep Democratic Ro Khanna introduced the resolution of the power of war last week to reprimand the President’s decision to launch an attack. When Massie continued to enlighten himself against Trump and his role in the conflict, the President attacked the Kentucky Republic, saying he was “not Maga” and threatened to campaign for the main opponent of the Republic of Massie in the next election.
Massie has now softened her approach, telling reporters in the capitol on Monday that she is now considering attracting the resolution of the power of bipartisan war.
“If the ceasefire survives, and we are not involved in hostility, then that is the point that is debated. I don’t need to bring it to the floor,” Massie said.
Massie also added that she was open to patching everything with the President: “I want a ceasefire between me and President Trump. If I can get the same agreement, after the destroyer of his bunker, he dropped me.”

Trump on Monday announced that Israel and Iran had approved a ceasefire, after more than a week of fighting after the Israeli attack – and subsequent US attacks – on the Iranian nuclear program. A few hours after the ceasefire came into force, Israel said Iran violated it – which was rejected by Iran.
Trump expressed his anger at Israel and Iran, accusing the two of breaking the ceasefire agreement shortly after that began.
“I’m not happy with Israel. Okay, when I say you now have 12 hours, you will not come out in the first hour and only drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I am also not happy with Iran,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday morning.
Speaker Mike Johnson said Monday night that he hoped that the direction of the house had a different “tone” in the light of the ceasefire.
