Russia did not launch a drone to Ukraine for the first time since December

London – Russia did not launch a long -distance strike drone to Ukraine on Monday night and to Tuesday morning, said the Ukraine Air Force, marked the first night since December 2024 where the zero craft targeted the country.

The Ukraine Air Force reported two missiles launched to the southern Zaporizhzhia region, both of which were shot down. The air force did not send a drone warning at night.

The Air Force also said that Russia attacked the frontline community in Zaporizhzhia with five bombs guided on Monday night, killing one person and injured five other people.

The absence of drone attacks representing important departures from the last few weeks, which has made Russia launch a mass drone attack – often more than 100 drones on the night trip – against Ukraine cities.

“There is no UAV strike,” Andriy Kovalenko-Head of the counter information center operating as part of the Ukraine-Tulis National Security and Defense Council in Telegram. “We monitor the situation, but this doesn’t mean anything.”

Both Kyiv and Moscow have continued to launch a mass boundary drone attack in recent months, although we are trying to facilitate a ceasefire and finally a peaceful agreement to end Russia’s 3 -year invasion of its neighbors.

Last week, three parties – US, Ukraine and Russia – said they agreed to stop every attack in the Black Sea and freeze attacks on energy infrastructure. Both Kyiv and Moscow since then accused others of breaking the break of energy attacks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that his troops dropped three Ukraine drones overnight over their West Bryansk territory. The ministry also accused that Ukraine drones targeted energy facilities twice over the previous 24 hours.

Ukraine Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha also accused Russia of attacking energy infrastructure, told reporters on Monday that the strike of facilities in the South Kheerson region of leaving 45,000 residents without electricity.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly quoted Russian bombings for almost night as proof that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not have a real interest in the ceasefire and peace proposed by President Donald Trump and his government.

In the video address Sunday night, Zelenskyy reported “more attacks and shootings” in seven Ukraine regions. “Geography and brutality of Russian attacks, not only occasionally, but literally every day and night, show that Putin does not care about diplomacy,” he said.

“For several weeks now, there is a US proposal for unconditional ceasefire,” added Zelenskyy. “And almost every day, in response to this proposal, there are Russian drones, bombs, firing artillery and ballistic attacks.”

In the last few days, Trump signaled frustration with Moscow, told reporters that he was “very angry” to Putin after the Russian leader criticized Zelenskyy and called on his transfer for the transition government.

Trump added that he would consider implementing new sanctions on profitable Russian oil exports and to any country that bought its oil. China and India are one of the most significant customers for Russian oil products.

The President then told reporters at the Air Force One that his government made significant progress towards ending the war. Asked about his relationship with Putin, Trump replied, “I don’t think he will return with his words.”

Asked whether there was a deadline for Russia to approve a ceasefire, Trump suggested that there was a “psychological deadline.”

He added, “If I think they knocked on us, I wouldn’t be happy about it.”
