Some time after being confirmed, McMahon was installed in the Ministry of Education.
In a post on X, McMahon said he intended to “realize” President Donald Trump’s promise to make the best US education in the world, returning education to state and free students from bureaucracy through school choices.
McMahon, who previously served as Head of Small Business Administration during Trump’s first term of office, will be assigned to close the Federal Agent confirmed to be led.
At a White House last month, Trump said, “I told Linda, ‘Linda, I hope you do a good job and make yourself out of work. I want him to put himself from work, the Ministry of Education. “
“I want the countries to run the school, and I want Linda to not work,” Trump added.
The source told ABC News that the President was expected to sign the executive order immediately after this week calling for McMahon to reduce the Department of Education and work with the congress to approve the law that would eliminate it. This step will fulfill the Trump campaign promise to restore education back to the state.

However, Trump’s direction will not stand without the consent of the congress, according to experts who have talked to ABC News. The proposed legislation is likely to fail without 60 votes in the senate.
Loyalists and Trump donors admit that he needs a congress to carry out the vision of the President.
“We want to do this correctly,” McMahon said during the February confirmation session, adding, “That certainly requires a congress.”
