NASA Starliner Astronauts Starting 17 Hours to Splashdown On the Coast of Florida After Delay

Two NASA astronauts who returned to earth were postponed for months on their way home.

Sunita “Suni” Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore left the international space station on Spacex Dragon spacecraft on Tuesday morning and started the journey for about 17 hours to Splashdown off the coast of Florida.

Astronaut Nasa Nick Hague and Cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov are also on the ship because it is not locked around 1:05 et.

Williams and Wilmore in June 2024 made the first flight from Starliner Boeing capsules. What is expected to be a trip for a week to ISS instead changed to nine months. Starliner Boeing who is expected to take them home after about 10 days of problems, leaving a partner at the station for months.

Nasa said they expect a trip back to the end around 17:57, when the dragon is scheduled to tear down Florida Beach.
