Musk was posted on Thursday, without providing evidence, a claim that the Department of Justice has not released the files into the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, who was accused of carrying out children under the age of the sex trade in 2019, because Trump was in it.

“It’s time to drop a very large bomb: @realdonaldtrump is in the Epstein file,” he wrote. “That’s the real reason they haven’t been published. I hope your day is fun, DJT!”

The real step of Musk to delete the Epstein post came only a few hours after he made another critical post Friday night, where he wrote he would apologize to Trump “As soon as there was a complete disposal site Epstein.” The post was also then deleted.

Trump rejected Musk’s claim in an interview with NBC News released on Saturday.

“That is called ‘old news.’ That has become an old news.

“This is an old news. This has been discussed for years. And as you know, I am not friendly with Epstein for 18 years before he died. I am not at all friendly with him,” Trump added.

The President expressed disappointment in criticism and threatened to cut federal contracts for the Musk business.

On Friday, he told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl that he was “not too” interested in talking to Musk.

“You mean the man who has lost his mind?” He asked.

Trump had previously posted, “I have never been on an Epstein aircraft, or on his ‘stupid’ island,” and he has not openly objected to the release of the file that is now being reviewed at DOJ.

Trump’s previous relationship with Epstein and his name appearance in an address book and log aircraft logs have been widely reported. However, it did not show Trump had involvement in Epstein’s crime.

Vice President JD Vance said in a podcast interview released Friday that the accusation of Musk “was not” true, and he added that he hoped Musk “returned to Flip.”

Musk also deleted the repost of X users who called for Trump’s impeachment and for him to be replaced by Vance. “Yes,” Musk wrote in response to the post, emerged to support the idea.

It is not clear when the post was deleted.

However, several other Musk positions that are critical of the President continue to use it on Saturday morning, including a claim Trump will lose the election without his help.
