Megabill negotiations show that Vance is a key player in Trump administration

Over the past six months, Vice President JD Vance has shown how much the key player he has done in Trump’s administration, serves as the most prominent president advisor and advances his agenda.

The last example came this week, when Vance helped encourage large taxes and expenditure of President Donald Trump through the congress.

Vance held a series of meetings with Holdduts and conservative and moderate senate leadership last Saturday to help advance bills. A source with direct knowledge states that Vance plays an important role in speaking with a senate barrier throughout the bill before he finally gives several votes that violate as president of the senate and move the expenditure bill to the DPR.

Senator of the Republic of Lisa Murkowski, who has criticized the slaughtering of the bill for Medicaid and Snap – a food assistance program – met with Vance, where he thanked him for being a team player despite his concern with the law, right before he chose the bill.

During the sprint to push the bill, Vance was criticized for his Social post Around the fears of the impact of the bill on Medicaid, writing that “small things from the Medicaid policy – not material compared to ICE money and the provisions of immigration enforcement.”

During all of this, Vance made a telephone call to Trump and both of them updated each other on their conversation with the senators ahead of the bill.

The Vice President attended a Wednesday meeting at the White House between Trump and several detention from the DPR when the President increased the pressure to choose the bill.

Representative of GOP North Carolina Greg Murphy, who had told reporters on Wednesday night that she was still doubtful because of several health care provisions, said on Thursday that he finally decided to support the package after speaking on the telephone to Vance and the President.

“I need a guarantee,” he said.

A source close to Vance said that he continued to work on the phone in front of the flooring of the floor on the regulation, summoning some of the DPR GOP Holddout to create an administrative case for them to support the bill.

However, not only before Vance’s domestic policy has an impact. He is also very important in supporting Trump’s foreign policy.

While Trump considering the decision to attack Iran’s nuclear sites, Vance came to the President’s defense after supporters such as Tucker Carlson and those who were in the Maga Base Blak -Klakan against the US were involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran.

“He might decide he needs to take further action to end Iran’s enrichment. The decision ultimately belongs to the President,” Vance wrote to X. “And of course, the right people to worry about foreign attachments after the last 25 years of the idiot foreign policy. But I believe that he only got a few trust in this problem.

Vance’s comment is a deviation from the previous statement that the US should not be entangled in foreign conflicts.

The main example is the Vice President’s opposition to the US who gave more assistance to Ukraine.

“I have to be honest with you, I don’t really care what happened to Ukraine in one way or another,” Vance said in February 2022, in the midst of an explosion of bipartisan support for the country after after the Russian invasion.

Recently, Vance expressed concern about the Presidential Decree to attack Houthi in Yemen in a signal group chat with other top administrative officials.

“I am not sure the President is aware of how inconsistent this is with his message in Europe now,” Vance wrote in a chat. “There is a further risk that we see the surge in moderate to severe oil prices. I am willing to support the team’s consensus and maintain this concern for myself. But there is a strong argument to delay this a month, doing work work why this is important, seeing where the economy is, etc.”

Ahead of the strike, Trump tried to involve the Maga base with Vance to see what their reaction was if he ordered the bombing.

Before the strike, Trump told reporters at the Air Force One while flying back from the G7 Summit in Canada that he might be able to send Vance and Steve Witkoff’s special messenger to meet with Iranian negotiator.

Vance’s active role in moving Trump’s agenda in the future is always part of the plan.

In November, after the election, a source close to the Vice President told ABC News that Vance had been assigned to ensure that all Trump administrative priorities moved forward and would work on one of Trump’s problems for further, indicating that the Vice President would not be assigned a specific problem to be done, but would be involved in several policy issues.

It is also hoped that Vance will be Trump’s “eyes and ears” in the Senate to ensure that his agenda is moving forward, the source also said. This is a familiar area for Vance, who was elected as a member of the Senate in 2022.

All of this came when Vance was seen by several people as the heir of Maga who appeared to Trump ahead of the 2028 election. At the same time, he worked to collect as much money as possible for the Republican party before the 2026 semester as the Chairperson of the Republican National Committee – the first time a Vice President held the role.

Joel Goldstein, a representative of a Bachelor and former professor at the Law School of Saint Louis University, told ABC News that Vance works in a different time line compared to his predecessor, because he will only serve a term as vice president under Trump.

“Every representative of the president is different and one of the unique things about Vance is that every other vice president, you know, with the possibility of Harris’s exception, entering the office in the hope that the president will run for re -election,” Goldstein said.

“I think he is in a very unique position in his first term as vice president is the last, and the ambition of his president, the time to take into account, you know, much faster than the problem usual.”

Following the violating votes in the Senate, some Democrats who might be opponents in the 2028 presidential election tried to make the Vance face of Trump’s expenditure bill.

In posting on xFormer Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg called Vance for giving voting to allow the bill to move forward.

“VP Vance has given voting in the Senate to cut Medicaid, take food assistance, blow up deficits, and add tax relief for the richest,” Buttiigieg wrote. “This bill is not popular because it’s wrong,” he continued.

Democrat Governor California Gavin Newsom Tell Americans in X To “mark” this moment, writing that “JD Vance is the main reason why 17 million Americans will lose their health care.”

In an interview with NBC News, Trump pointed to Vance and State Secretary and National Security Advisor while Marco Rubio was the possible successor, and said, when asked, that he was sure his maga movement could survive without him.

Asked about the President’s commentsVance said that if he finally nominated himself as president, he “has no right for it.”
