Agnifilo wrote, “377 people were killed in New York City in 2024; only one, however December 4, 2024, the shooting of Unitedhealthcare CEO Brian Thompson-Has which led to the legal tugs between the state prosecutors and federals when they struggled to control the fate of Luigi Mangione who was 26 years old.”

Lawyers to Mgione, who claimed to be innocent for the Murder of December Thompson, also argued that the increase in terrorism added by the MANHATTAN District Prosecutor’s Office must be discarded because of the “evidence of failing to establish the necessary elements intended by TN. Mijione to intimidate or force civilians or affect government policies.

To the prosecutor, the accusation of the first-level murder was guaranteed because the words of Detective said they were found in the shell-delapan selongs, denying, rolling out-which is often associated with insurance claims. They also pointed to the parts of Mijione’s writings, which described the fixation of Mgione’s deepening in Unitedhealthcare and increasingly increased to the company’s greed.

Manione claimed to be innocent for federal charges that could result in the death penalty if he was punished.

“Forcing Mr. Mgone to defend himself in an instant case will erase the rights given to him in the case of the death penalty,” Agnifilo wrote in the submission.

Mgione’s lawyer also tried to suppress the statements he made to the authorities in Altoona, Pennsylvania, where he was arrested after the five -day hunt and where “Officers failed to give him Miranda’s warning,” according to the court submission on Thursday.
