Klobuchar said he was ‘surprised’ by Trump and Zelenskyy Shouting Match

Senator Amy Klobuchar supports Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday after the volatile White House meeting with President Donald Trump on Friday, said he “could not believe” how the meeting on Friday took place ..

Watching an explosive meeting video, Klobuchar said he “couldn’t believe him.”

“Vice President Vance, in particular, who committed a violation, who was investigating President Zelenskyy, who only tried to explain that … We need a strong security commitment from all our allies to be able to have eternal peace, which is something that President Trump said that he wanted to see.”

Klobuchar speculated about how the meeting was so spicy when asked by Stephanopoulos whether it was an ambush.

“Whether it’s an ambush arrangement, or they have just become very angry, the president and vice president, that what happened,” he said. “This is this presidential chaos.”

Meanwhile, the British Ambassador to Dewa As Peter Mandelson said the US-Ukraine relationship needed “reset” after the Trump-Zelenskyy meeting.

“I think Ukraine should be the first to commit to a ceasefire and oppose Russia to be followed,” Mandelson told Stephanopoulos. “And then, as part of the ongoing plan for this negotiation, Europeans and maybe several other countries must also consider how they will place troops in the field to play their role in providing eternal security and prevention for Ukraine.”
