How the black conservative leader aims to build the next generation in Washington

Looking to use what he sees as the momentum of the 2024 presidential election, the black conservative federation launched the two -day summit in Washington, DC, next month which aims to unite black conservatives and process the next generation of leaders.
Prime Black conservative federation Summit the solution will be held on July 11-12, uniting elected officials, influencers, policy experts, and strategists for what is expected by the organizer will be a series of courageous conversations and driven by solutions “on the most urgent problems faced by black America today.
“In the spirit of momentum in the future during Trump’s administration, we invest in the next generation of black leaders who will define the future of our community, our culture, and our country,” Diante Johnson, the president and founder of the group, said in a statement to ABC News.

Johnson previously served as Director of the Regional Field of North Carolina North Campaign in 2016 and was a member of the Black Voting Council for Trump during the 2020 campaign.
The Summit occurred after President Donald Trump made a simple profit with black voters throughout the country in 2024, especially among black youth, the main demographic for Democrats, according to the Associated Press. Black voters formed about 1 of 10 voters nationally in the last 2024 presidential election.
Although about 8 out of 10 black voters supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, it marked a decline from around 9 out of 10 who supported President Joe Biden only four years earlier. Trump, meanwhile, almost doubled his support from 2020 among black men under the age of 45 – with about 3 out of 10 supporting it in 2024, compared to only 1 of 10 in 2020.
Summit will focus on six main topics: artificial intelligence and its role in forming the future; Criminal Justice Reform and Policy Transformation; Cryptocurrency and Empowerment of Black Economy; strengthen the black family; navigating modern culture debate; and the influence of Gen Z in politics and the media.
While some black conservative federation members have worked in Trump administration and a broader conservative movement, the organizer said the event was more than just a short -term victory. This is designed to foster long -term talent and leadership development throughout the country, they said.
“We not only respect the legacy of freedom, we build it. By guiding the voices that emerged and expanded access to civilian involvement, we brought the torch progress with the aim,” Johnson said.
Among the main speakers at the Summit were Lynne Patton, Deputy Assistant of the President and Minority Examination Director in the White House; Rep. Wesley Hunt of Texas; Anne Marie Wiley, a former member of the cast “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”; Alex Smith, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the US Ministry of Finance; and Janiyah Thomas, former Director of Black Media for Trump’s campaign.
Trump “Pardon Czar” Alice Johnson will also talk to groups like the founder of Death Row Records Michael Harris.
Some well -known black conservative influencers are also scheduled to participate, including CJ Pearson, Xavier Durousseau and Carter family member, who channeled videos on YouTube.
The black conservative federation was originally established as a political networking group for black conservatives but has since expanded its mission to focus on diversifying conservative movements and promoting conservative principles. This group emphasizes its work in political advocacy, outreach and civilian involvement.
Trump spoke to the group during the Black History Month event in 2024, signifying the increase in group visibility in the Republic of the Maga Era Circle.
His leadership included Rep. Byron Donalds, who served as chairman, and former NFL player Jack Brewer, Co-Chairman, the organization today.
