Biden said the damage that Trump had done for 'amazing' social security

Former President Joe Biden in one of his first public speeches since leaving the White House offered a full reprimand from Trump’s administrative efforts to cut social security on Tuesday, mentioning the amount of damage caused by the White House on the “Amazing” and “Destroying Program,”–Sharp deviations from his efforts while in the office to protect it and “make it stronger.”

“Well, see what happened. In less than 100 days, this new government has made so much … doing so much damage, and so much, it is a kind of amazing it can happen immediately,” Biden said.

Biden avoided saying the name of the successor. In his almost 30 minutes comments, the 82 -year -old man often sounded silent, with several different explosions in defending social security and recipients. The only indirect mention of President Donald Trump is calling him “this person.”

Biden was introduced by former Governor Maryland and Social Security Administrator Martin O’Malley in front of around 180 participants in advocates, advisors and representatives for the defective conference in Chicago.

“I will not go further and get a problem …” Biden said tired at the beginning of his speech, when he spinning then from highlighting his own achievements as president to raise social security to reprimand the White House slaughtering today.

“The last time this person had the job, he appointed a debt ceiling because of a very large and wasteful tax cut to rich people,” Biden said later.

“They want to cut social security,” Biden added, calling a member of the Republican congress. “Not on my watch. We refuse to follow all of that,” he said.

Then in the remarks of the former president, he threw away doubts to criticize the current government, even saying Trump’s voters in the 2024 election did not have “Heart.”

“What makes us different from all over the world? Basic, in my view, American fundamental values. There are no kings,” Biden said, once again referring to Trump.

“You can’t continue like this, as a divided nation, we are divided, as I said, I have long done this. It has never been divided this. Indeed, only 30 percent, but 30 percent have no heart.”

He also warned additional cuts for social security.

“They have taken the ax in social security, pushing 7,000 additional employees, 7,000 out of the door at that time, including the most experienced career officials. Now they are preparing to push something more out of the door.”

Biden also reached directly to Trump’s Trade Secretary Howard Lutnick and his senior advisor Elon Musk.

“Based on [Lutnick’s] Comment, he doesn’t even care. You see what he said the other day. By the way, he was a billionaire … he said his 94-year-old mother-in-law would not complain, he would not bother him. Maybe a beautiful woman. Not joking …. his son -in -law is a billionaire. What about a 94 -year -old mother who lives alone?

“People, this is not only the trade secretary, where we hear how other people are, empowered and brave by this government, talking about social security, one of them calls it a ‘ponzi scheme.’ Ponzi scheme – what are they talking about? “Biden said, referring to Musk.

Biden suggested that the White House movement be based on the proverbial technology industry “move quickly and solve goods.”

He also emphasized that this congress would move to cut the program through the Republican funding package that would make a permanent 2017 Trump tax deduction.

“These people are willing to injure the middle class, working classes, to provide significant and greater wealth to people who are already very rich,” he said. “They think they are? I really think them – I mean only basic and basic politeness. Who do they think?”

Biden’s speech came when the democratic congress leaders were referred to on Tuesday as “Action Day” which focused on social security.

“Throughout the country, Democrats led the struggle to oppose the republic’s plan to voice social security. Our social security days will mobilize Americans from every corner of the United States to push back to Donald Trump, cutting Elon Musk and Doge to social security,” Democrat leader of the Senate Chuck Schumer, Dn.Y., and Democrat Leader House, Haeem Jeffries.

“The Republican party wants to cut this critical lifeline by making it difficult for the seniors and people with disabilities to access the benefits they get. Turning off local offices, firing a large number of experienced constituent service workers and cutting telephone services – making people more difficult to get their checks. Republicans try to kill social security from within – it is cutting with other names – and we will not be permitted.”
