Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to all the accusations in the Idaho college murder case

Bryan Kohberger has agreed to be guilty to all the accusations in the murder of four Idaho University students, saving him from the death sentence, according to a letter sent to the victim’s family members.
Kohberger-who was charged with four charges of first-class murder and one accusation of theft in connection with the murder of 2022 roommate Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle and Kernodle’s girlfriend, Plangea PLNAN, will be sentenced to 10 years for the murder, according to Mr. Pak Sentenun.
He will release all the right to file an appeal, the agreement said.
The prosecutor anticipated the sentence to take place at the end of July, as long as Kohberger included a guilty request as expected in the change in the defense session scheduled on Wednesday, according to a letter received by the family of one of the victims.

The request came only a few weeks before the Kohberger trial will begin. The jury choice was set to start on August 4 and the opening argument was scheduled for August 18.
The prosecutor said in a letter to the family that the state was approached last week by the Kohberger Defense Team who asked to be given an offer. The prosecutor said they then met with family members available last week, “Considering the right path in the future and submitting formal offers” to Kohberger.
“This resolution is our sincere attempt to seek justice for your family,” wrote the prosecutor in the letter. “This agreement ensures that the defendant will be punished, will spend the rest of his life in prison, and will not be able to put you and other families through the uncertainty of decades after the Hukum, appeal. Your point of view is very burdensome to our decision making process, and we hope that you can appreciate why we are sure this resolution is very important for them.”

The state will also ask for compensation for the victims and their families, according to the agreement.
The four students of Idaho University were all stabbed to death at home outside of campus on early November 13, 2022. Two roommates in congratulations, including one roommate who told the authorities in the middle of the night he saw a man wearing black clothes and masks walked past him at home, according to court documents.
