One person was killed and many people were injured when a ship crashed into a Clearwater ferry in Clearwater, Florida, on Sunday night.

All injured are people at the ferry, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

There were 45 people on a ferry, including two crew members, when hit by a passing ship, the police said.

“It has been declared a mass victim incident by the fire department due to the number of injuries. All local hospitals have been notified,” wrote Clearwater PD in A Post on x on Sunday night.

“Multiple trauma warnings have been called by helicopters carrying two than more serious injured,” the post continued.
